Raspberry and Lemon $1.95 @ McDonalds

Taste: 9/10

Value for money: 10/10

mmm these were so yummy :P There was a thin layer of crispiness on the outside with a soft soft inside and even softer filling that melted in the mouth, very delicious. I personally enjoyed the lemon macaroon more but my brother really liked the raspberry flavour, but the main thing is we both liked it! I've never had any high class macaroons before so I can't really do a comparison, so all I'm going to say it my taste buds enjoyed this ;D I definitely think it's value for money compared to what other macaroons are priced! but once again I've never tried any other ones so maybe they are super delicious and worth $3-5 :O, one day I shall try them :)

Mrs Fields or Subway

Today I spontaneously wanted to compare these cookies (they're very similar!), so I did :P

Mrs Fields 10/10

Milk chocolate chip cookies $2.95

Subway 9/10

White chocolate raspberry

Chocolate chip cookies 2 for $2 or 1 for $1.10

(prices vary for each franchise)

Mrs Fields cookies are better quality as a whole, but that is expected as cookies are their main selling point :) The cookie is nice and tender and the chocolate melts in your mouth. It is also thicker than the subway cookie which give it its moistness that the subway ones don't have though there is not much difference in flavour. The subway cookies are still very nice though, soft and more chewy (if that's a good thing). In terms of just the cookie Mrs Fields would win because their cookies just melt in your mouth but if you consider the price as well, it is much too overpriced, I could get 3 subway cookies for the price of 1 Mrs Field's cookie! the price is donks

So in conclusion, I would only get Mrs Fields cookies as a delicacy as their pricing is way too ridiculous :( The subway cookies are nice my favourite would be the White chocolate raspberry cookie ^_____^ & there's a franchise near my school which only sell them for 75c which is awesome :) When I'm craving I could just get and go after school !

But remember don't eat these too often! They are jam packed with sugar, you don't want that unwanted muffin top :P

Daiso!

So since I worked today, I shall blog about my work! :)

I work at DAISO ! We sell everything for $2.80, everything. It's in the Myer centre in Brisbane CBD on level 2 (I think...some of the levels have weird names like 'A' and 'S' D; ), next to best and less.

All sorta of ceramics :)

Lots of containers/lunch boxes

FOooooOOOod!

& even electronics.

This is just to name a few things! ^___^ Go check it out at least once, it'll be worth it ;)

Anzac day

Spent the morning listening to In Flanders Fields :)

I remember singing this song for choir in primary school!

Spent the arvo with Eli (my nephew) today, took him to the park but I started getting heaps of mozzy bites so we didn't stay out for long, he was wearing long sleeve and pants so he had nothing to worry about ^_^

Matcha Red bean waffle $5.80 @ Tea Etc (Market Square, Sunnybank)

It was yum but I wouldn't have an urge to eat it again, not value for money! They also have original and chocolate flavour.

Deep fried chicken with curry sauce meal $11.90 @ Half time tea bar (Market Square, Sunnybank)

This was definitely not worth it :( I'm a bit disappointed to be honest, I think my favourite part of this dish would be the rice haha. The kimchi wasn't authentic, there wasn't much chicken just the crispy coating which was quite oily and the curry sauce was too salty =\ I'd prefer Hainaichi's chicken curry which is nearly half its price! I wouldn't really recommend Half time tea bar for dinner, for me their menu isn't varied enough and too expensive!

& yes I did eat the waffles before the meal! haha

Just ended up like that I guess ~

wow so it's been more than a year since my last post, any readers out there ?

ok, so, I know I've said this before but I'm going to try and blog more frequently from now on just about my everyday life but will probably just end up blogging about food :P
One of the reasons why I want to start again is because it is like a daily journal that's quicker and more convenient to use where I can store all my memories and look back at in the future :)

I'm thinking about what my 'comeback' post should be at the moment...
But in the mean time catch up with me!

I'm in my final year of high school (pretty sure I began blogging in the beginning of high school, time flies so fast!)
I very recently got a job at Daiso! (Yay something I can post about)
I became an aunty in March last year! my nephew is the most adorable thing ever, I have to show you guys! he's such a bundle of joy :3
& I'm really tired at the moment from cramming for a 4000 word essay in the past two days =\ so I can't think, but just ask if ya'll are curious!
